Manhasset, NY

This was a large vacant house — spacious living room, dining room, three bedrooms, and an office. Beautiful bones, no pulse yet.

The work was to make it feel lived in. Warm, not showy. Comfortable enough that someone walking through could already picture dinner at the table, a Saturday morning in the living room, a quiet desk in the office.

We kept the house’s scale and let the rooms breathe. Soft seating, natural textures, and enough personal detail so the house no longer felt like it was waiting. It felt like a family had just stepped out.

What changed was the feeling: a vacant home that now reads as a place to live.
